Tibet Mount Everest

Comments:  This is the famous North Face, seen from base camp in Tibet, elevation 17,200 feet. Yes, I was cold there and quite aware of the much-reduced oxygen, but it was the incessant and vicious wind that was most dreadful. The massive mounds of boulders, gravel and earth are the terminal moraine of the Rongbuk Glacier, revealed as the glacier is retreating into its valley at the foot of Everest.
